Overview

Bates Architects designed a comprehensive new suite for Partner Veterinary Hospital, aimed at enhancing the facility’s functionality and patient care. The project includes a new building entrance with a vestibule, triage station, and waiting/discharge area with seating for patients. Visitor restrooms, telemedicine and ER exam rooms, as well as a dedicated cardio department with exam rooms, offices, and work areas, are part of the suite’s layout.

The treatment area is equipped with patient holding, ICU, neurology, internal medicine, and discharge spaces, as well as storage, work areas, and support facilities. Specialized spaces include a dispensary, lab, overnight holding ward, and a morgue. Imaging services will feature x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and MRI, with the MRI housed in a modular unit accessed via the old loading dock. Employee amenities include restrooms, a mother’s room, IT closet, staff break room, and janitorial facilities. This well-rounded design supports both patient care and operational efficiency for the veterinary hospital.
