Historic District Frederick, MD
Overview
Frederick Book Arts Center (FBAC) has completed the renovation and fit up of this historic building in the historic district of the City of Frederick Maryland. The site is located at the corner of West South and South Carroll Streets. The building was used over the years by many retail tenants. The facility will now be used as the headquarters of FBAC and houses the various arts studios, education spaces and provides multipurpose function space for public and private users. The building is 8,000 square feet and required a variety of shell improvements including new specialty foundations, selected demolition and replacement of exterior walls, façade restoration, and roof reconstruction. The General Contractor was Waynesboro Construction.
