New Adaptive Reuse Project – The Trolley Building


Bates Architects, LLC has been selected to be the Architect for the renovation and adaptive reuse project at 200 E Patrick Street, The City of Frederick Maryland. The building is known as “The Trolley Building” as it once housed a regional trolley station. The new program for the building , when completed, will be for retail, hospitality and business users in the future. Design work and approvals are underway with work is to be completed in late 2025. BA has successfully completed in 2024 two significant adaptive reuse projects on Carroll Street. The Frederick Book Arts Center and True Standard Distilling Company. This project adjoins the new hotel project and will become an integral part of the exciting Carroll Street corridor.
